Pump it up (or piu - 1999), is an arcade rhythmic videogame, similar to it's older brother DDR (dance dance revolution - 1998), but using 5 steps instead of just 4.

I first played PIU in 2008. Back then, there was a strong local scene in my city during the "emo era". People would gather at the local mall and line up to play. I didn't have any friends who introduced me to the game, but I started playing with two other friends who were fans of Guitar Hero. At the time, the only machine available was a PIU Zero, but it was soon replaced with an NX2, my all-time favorite version and the one I learned to play on.

Some of my favorite musics are: Destination (SHK), Com'Back (Sechskies) and Greenhorn (lexy)
